My husband always picks on me for not being so organized, but if he could get a better grasp on what I balance each day I don't think he'd say that anymore. :-) Likely if you're reading a blog about teaching and graphic organizers, then you are probably balancing a million things too, and more organized than you think! Since I am a visual learner, one thing that I find to be very helpful is to write lists, draw things out, use post-it notes and create web graphic organizers. These are all basically forms of graphic organizers, which (as any teacher knows) can help a vast array of kids to keep them organized too! Before I started Teachers Inspiring Students, I scoured the internet to find just the right graphic organizers for my students. But now I have loads of great ones that I'm giving to you for free! When I teach how to write an essay with a thesis statement, I was always looking for just the right way to organize my kids' writing. When teaching main ideas and details I need to keep them organized as well. Look no further, because they are all here!
Graphic organizers for essay writing, story maps, brainstorming, weekly goals, main idea/details, collaboration, making connections, Venn diagrams, writing stories, thesis/persuasive writing, vocabulary, and concept map with a few hidden bonuses are all included just for you, so you can be organized too!
